The corporate lawyer answered the phone call on the very first ring.
Lawyer: Good evening, David, how was your trip back home today?
David: I need you at my house right now with full papers.
Lawyer: Did something go wrong with the new business land deal?
David: Victoria is trying to steal my estate and hurt Lily.
Lawyer: I will be at your front gate in twenty minutes.
David hung up the phone and walked out of his private office.
He saw Victoria coming down the hall in a different warm dress.
She held a thick stack of white papers in her right hand.
Victoria: I see you found out that your office was opened.
David: You stole my daughter's official legal adoption papers from drawer.
Victoria: I am protecting my financial future in this grand family estate.
David: You signed a legal prenuptial agreement before our quiet wedding!
Victoria laughed softly and stepped closer to where David was standing.
Victoria: That prenup is worthless if I prove you hid your assets.
David: I never hid a single dollar from you or court!
Victoria: My lawyer found offshore accounts under your small company name.
David stared at her in total shock because he had no accounts.
David: What offshore accounts are you talking about right now, Victoria?
Victoria: The two million dollars hidden in a foreign bank account.
David realized instantly that someone had used his name for fraud.
He remembered Victoria asking for his corporate signature two months ago.
She had claimed it was for standard home insurance policy updates.
David: You set up fake bank accounts using my personal signature!
Victoria's smile faded slightly as she looked into David's fierce eyes.
Victoria: You cannot prove anything in front of a real judge.
David: Every corner of this house has high definition camera footage.
Victoria's face turned pale as she looked up at the ceiling sensor.
She had forgotten that the study ceiling camera had audio recording.
David: The cameras recorded everything you and your lawyer said last night.
Victoria: You are lying to scare me out of my rightful share!
