Elena stood near the top of the grand marble staircase while holding baby Leo safely.
Victoria walked up quickly and reached out her hands demanding to take the swaddled baby.
Her movement was sudden and forceful as she tried to pull the baby away aggressively.
Victoria intentionally tripped against the railing to make it look like Elena lost her balance.
The infant started crying loudly as the sudden sudden movement startled him in the open space.
Elena reacted with lightning speed and pulled the baby securely back into her protective arms.
She dropped to her knees on the polished floor to shield baby Leo from any fall.
Victoria stumbled slightly against the railing while letting out a sharp gasp of fake distress.
Elena held the weeping baby tight against her chest while kneeling safely on the floor.
She breathed a heavy sigh of sheer relief knowing the child was completely unharmed now.
Victoria turned around instantly with a look of pure rage written across her bitter face.
She raised her voice loudly and accused Elena of acting carelessly with the young child.
Elena stood up slowly with firm resolve while keeping baby Leo shielded behind her body.
She refused to let Victoria touch the boy ever again after such reckless behavior today.
Victoria stepped forward threateningly, demanding that Elena hand over the child immediately or leave.
Elena held her ground near the balcony pillar with unwavering courage and steady breathing pace.
The sound of heavy front entrance doors opening echoed dramatically throughout the vast foyer below.
Firm footsteps sounded across the marble floor as a shadow appeared in the bright entry.
Arthur had returned early from his corporate meetings down in the city financial district center.
He stopped near the entrance hall and looked up at the high staircase in confusion.
The dramatic confrontation on the landing was about to be exposed to the house master.
Elena looked down at Arthur with tearful eyes, ready to speak the complete absolute truth.
