Calling The Police Right Away

The Maid Smashed His Glass Before He Could Drink

Arthur pulled his own phone from his suit pocket and dialed three digits without delay.

He put the phone to his ear while keeping a strict, watchful eye on his wife.

Arthur: Yes, I need emergency police officers at my residence immediately!

Arthur: My wife just attempted to poison my food with a harmful chemical substance.

Victoria let out a loud, dramatic scream and ran toward the front entrance hall doors.

She grabbed the brass door handle and pulled it open with all her panicked strength.

But two local police cruisers were already pulling up the long driveway outside the house.

Elena had secretly called the local police station right before she rushed into the room.

The bright red and blue lights flashed brightly against the tall glass front doors.

Two uniform officers stepped out of their cars quickly and marched up the brick steps.

Victoria backed up into the foyer as the officers opened the heavy front door.

Police Officer: Ma'am, stay right where you are and keep your hands visible!

Victoria: This is all a terrible misunderstanding! My husband is lying to you!

Arthur walked into the grand foyer, holding out his smartphone to the leading officer.

Arthur: Officer, I have high-definition video evidence of her pouring liquid into my drink.

Arthur: The glass vial is still sitting on our dining room table right now.

The officer watched the clear video clip and nodded his head with a stern look.

He grabbed Victoria's wrists gently but firmly and placed heavy steel handcuffs on her.

Police Officer: Victoria Sterling, you are under arrest for attempted murder and assault.

Victoria began to cry loud, fake tears as the officer led her out the front door.

Victoria: Arthur, please do not do this to me! I am your wife!

Arthur turned his back on her as the police officers led her away in shame.
