The Video On The Screen

The Maid Smashed His Glass Before He Could Drink

Arthur glared at Elena with deep confusion and growing anger visible across his broad forehead.

He had never seen his loyal housekeeper act in such a wild and violent manner before.

Victoria stepped forward quickly, her face red with extreme fury as she pointed at Elena.

Victoria: Fire her right now, Arthur! She has completely lost her mind and destroyed our breakfast!

Arthur: Calm down, Victoria. Elena, you had better have a very good explanation for this.

Elena took a deep breath to steady her shaking voice as she unlocked her smartphone screen.

Elena: Please, Mr. Sterling! You must look at this video right now before you say anything!

She held the glowing phone screen directly in front of Arthur's wide, startled eyes.

Arthur frowned in confusion, but he leaned in closer to watch the small video playing.

The high-definition recording showed Victoria pulling the tiny glass vial from her silk robe pocket.

It showed her clearly pouring the strange clear liquid directly into Arthur's water glass.

The video zoomed in tight on the label of the vial hiding under her folded napkin.

Arthur's breath caught in his throat as his eyes widened in absolute horror and total disbelief.

The anger on his face vanished instantly, replaced by a pale look of pure horror.

He looked down at the puddle of spilled water soaking slowly into the expensive wood table.

Then he slowly turned his head to stare directly at his wife standing beside him.

Arthur: Victoria... what in the world did you just put into my drinking water?

Victoria's face drained of all color as she backed away from the table in sudden terror.

Victoria: That video is fake! She altered it with AI technology to frame me!

Arthur: Do not lie to me! I am watching you do it on this screen right now!

Victoria: You are going to believe a low-paid maid over your own loving wife?

Arthur: Look at the table, Victoria! The tiny bottle is still sitting under your napkin!

Arthur reached out with a trembling hand and pulled the linen napkin off the table.

The small glass vial rolled out onto the wood, glowing under the bright morning sunlight.
