Adrian stopped in his tracks as he saw the chaotic scene in the foyer.
His eyes moved from Elena holding the crying baby to the overturned stroller.
Adrian: What on earth is going on in here right now?
Victoria instantly burst into loud, dramatic tears near the bottom step landing.
She covered her face with both hands and stumbled toward her husband quickly.
Victoria: Oh, Adrian, thank goodness you are finally back home!
Adrian: Victoria, calm down and tell me what happened to Maya.
Victoria: She tried to hurt our baby by pushing the stroller down!
Adrian's face turned pale as he turned his sharp gaze toward Elena instantly.
Elena stood frozen near the hallway arch, clutching Maya firmly against her chest.

Victoria: I saw her do it with my own eyes from the top hall!
Adrian: Elena, is this true about what happened on the stairs?
Elena: I caught the stroller at the bottom after she pushed it!
Victoria sobbed loudly and rested her head on Adrian's shoulder with fake tears.

Victoria: Call the police right now and have her removed from our property.
Elena: Mr. Montgomery, please check the hallway security cameras on the wall!
Victoria: The hallway system has been offline for maintenance all morning, Adrian.
Adrian looked up at the corner camera mount near the high chandelier light.
The little red indicator light on the camera housing was completely turned off.
Adrian: She is right, the security system was shut down for repairs today.
