The False Accusation Begins

The Maid Caught the Toddler Before She Could Fall

Elena's calm mask suddenly broke into a look of panic and fake alarm.

She rushed down the carpeted stairs, making loud stomping sounds with her heels.

Elena: Give me that child right now, you sloppy, careless maid!

Sarah: Do not come any closer to this poor frightened girl, Elena!

Elena: You dropped her because you were not paying any attention at all!

Sarah stood up slowly, keeping Lily wrapped safely inside her strong arms.

Sarah: You intentionally shoved her toward the stairs, and you know it!

Elena: Who do you think my husband will believe when he gets home?

Elena reached out aggressively to grab Lily's small arm away from Sarah.

Lily screamed out in fear and buried her head deeper into Sarah's neck.

Lily: No please, stop her! I want my real mommy back!

Elena: Shut up you brat, you are going straight to your dark room!

Sarah stepped back defensively, putting her own body between Elena and Lily.

Sarah: You will not lay a single finger on her while I breathe.

Elena: I will fire you this very minute without a single penny paid!

Sarah: Fire me then, but I am calling the police and Richard immediately.

Elena's eyes narrowed into angry slits as she grabbed a heavy crystal vase.

She held it up high as if she was about to throw it down.

Suddenly, the sound of car tires screeching loudly echoed from the front driveway.

A heavy car door slammed shut outside near the front courtyard garden.

The heavy front entrance doors flew wide open with a sudden loud bang.

Richard ran into the bright foyer, holding his briefcase tightly in his hand.

He had forgotten his important financial documents on his office desk at home.

He stopped dead in his tracks, staring at the chaotic scene before him.

Richard: What on earth is going on inside my house right now?

Elena: Oh Richard, thank goodness you came back home just in time!

Elena dropped her face into her hands, instantly producing loud, fake tears.
