Adrian held Elena by her shoulders while his jaw remained locked in anger.
The maid wept silently while looking up at her boss with total helplessness.
Victoria stood over them with her arms crossed tightly over her blue dress.
"Call the police right now, Adrian!" Victoria demanded with a sharp tone.
"She tried to hurt our little boy!" Victoria added with real venom.
Before Adrian could answer, young Chloe stepped up between her angry father and Elena.
Chloe held her smartphone right in front of her father's tense face.
"Dad, wait!" Chloe shouted with a calm but very firm voice.
"Look at my phone right now before you do anything else!" she said.
Adrian blinked in surprise and looked down at his daughter's bright screen.
"Not now, Chloe!" Adrian snapped with deep irritation in his voice.
"Dad, press play on the video right now!" Chloe urged him urgently.
Adrian took a breath and glanced down at the video playing on screen.
The video showed the high staircase from a clear, hidden security camera angle.
In the clip, Victoria was standing completely alone at the top of the steps.
Elena was far down the hallway with her back turned away from Victoria.
The video clearly showed Victoria pushing the stroller forward with her own hand.
It showed Elena turning around in shock and diving across the hard floor.
The clip showed Elena catching the stroller right before it hit the stairs.
Adrian froze completely as he watched the video play three full times.
A sharp intake of breath escaped his throat as his eyes widened up.
The room went totally silent except for the faint sound of baby Leo.
Victoria's face turned completely white as she recognized the video recording frame.
She tried to step back slowly toward the edge of the hallway wall.
"Where did you get that clip?" Victoria whispered with total terror inside.
"I put a small security camera up yesterday," Chloe explained out loud.
"I wanted to capture cute videos of baby Leo playing," Chloe said.
"I saw what really happened on my phone app!" Chloe added boldly.
Adrian slowly let go of Elena's grey uniform shoulders with trembling hands.
He stood up straight, his chest heaving heavily as fury took over him.
His face twisted into an expression of intense rage toward his wife.
Elena wiped her tears away and slowly stood up from the hard floor.
"Mr. Vance, I would never hurt little Leo," Elena whispered softly.
Adrian didn't even look at Elena because his eyes were locked on Victoria.
He took three large steps forward toward the woman in the blue dress.
Victoria stumbled backward until her spine hit the grand staircase banister rail.
"Adrian, listen to me!" Victoria gasped out while holding her hands up.
"It was an accident, I swear!" Victoria lied with trembling lips now.
Adrian slammed his open palm against the wooden handrail with a loud crack.
The loud noise echoed through the grand house like a sharp gunshot.
Victoria flinched hard and pressed herself flat against the dark wooden railing.
"You lied to me!" Adrian shouted with absolute fury ringing everywhere.
"You put my son in danger just to frame this poor girl!" he yelled.
