Richard: Give me the baby right now!
Elena: He's breathing, sir, but he's freezing—
Victoria: Don't you dare touch him again, you monster!
Victoria lunged forward and shoved Elena hard across the slick patio stones. Elena slipped on the wet granite, landing face-down with a heavy thud that knocked the breath right out of her lungs. She gasped, crying softly as her knees scraped against the rough edge of the pool deck.
Richard: Shh, it's okay, buddy. Daddy's got you. You're safe now.
Victoria: She needs to be locked up, Richard! Look at him, he's traumatized! She deliberately pushed the stroller toward the deep end!
Elena: I didn't! I was coming out with the fresh towels when I saw the stroller moving!
Victoria: Shut your mouth! How dare you lie when you almost murdered my child!
Richard held the wailing infant tightly against his black shirt, wrapping his arms around the wet child. His eyes were cold as steel as he glared down at Elena lying at their feet.
Richard: Is this how you repay us, Elena? We hired you, gave you a place to live, and paid you a generous salary!
Elena: Mr. Sterling, please! I swear on my life, I was on the other side of the patio! Mrs. Sterling was standing right next to the stroller under the flag!
Victoria: Are you out of your mind?! Are you accusing me of hurting my own son?!
Richard: That is enough, Elena! You have crossed every boundary imaginable today.
Elena: But I jumped in! Look at me! I am completely soaked because I dived underwater to pull him out!
Victoria: Because you panicked when you realized you were caught! You saw me coming and tried to cover your tracks!
Elena: No! Mrs. Sterling, why are you doing this?! You pushed it! I saw your hands on the handle!
Victoria gasped dramatically, placing a delicate hand over her heart, leaning into Richard's shoulder for support.
Victoria: Hear that, Richard? She's trying to frame me! She's sick! She's out of her mind!
Richard: Get up off the floor, Elena.
Elena: Sir, please listen to me...
Richard: I said get up!
Elena slowly pushed herself up from the cold stone deck, her body shaking from both the chill of the pool water and the sheer injustice unfolding around her. Her hands were raw, and tears mixed with pool water on her cheeks.
Victoria: Call the police right now, Richard. She belongs in a cell for attempted murder.
Richard: I'm calling them immediately. And she won't be leaving this property until they arrive.
Elena: Please don't do this! I saved your son's life!
Victoria: You almost ended it! You're lucky he's breathing!
Richard: Go inside, Victoria. Take Leo upstairs, wrap him in warm blankets, and call the private pediatrician. I'll deal with her.
Victoria: Don't let her out of your sight, honey. She's dangerous.
Elena: Mr. Sterling, I beg you, check the truth!
Richard: The truth is right in front of my eyes, Elena. My wife is hysterical, my son is soaked and terrified, and you're standing here making insane allegations.
Elena: Because she wanted this to happen!
Richard: Keep quiet before I make sure you spend the rest of your life behind bars without bail!
