The Billionaire Saved His Pregnant Sister From His Mother's Ledge

The high-key luxury mansion upper balcony was flooded with bright natural daylight, highlighting the pristine white walls where a framed American flag decor hung prominently. An older Caucasian woman in a sleek gray suit stood on the polished tile, her face twisted in a mask of calculated coldness. Opposite her, a younger woman in a spotted polka-dot dress clutched her swollen stomach, her eyes wide with terror as she backed toward the marble railing.

Evelyn: You thought you could come into my home, Clara, and claim what belongs to my son?

Clara: Evelyn, please! I didn't come here for the money! I just wanted to show you the medical records!

Evelyn: Medical records? You think a piece of paper proves that baby carries the Vance family line?

A maid standing near the French doors gasped in horror, clutching her apron as Evelyn stepped forward and lunged, her manicured hands gripping Clara's dress right by her chest near the balcony ledge.

Clara: Stop! Let go of me! You're hurting the baby!

Evelyn: There will be no baby to divide our estate, Clara. Not today.

Clara: Evelyn, no! Help! Somebody help me!

The maid stepped back, frozen in fear as the wind rustled through the balcony drapery. Clara reached out frantically, her fingers brushing against the cold brass railing as Evelyn shoved her with all her weight, pushing the pregnant woman right over the edge into the grand open atrium.

Clara: AHHHHHH!

A blood-curdling scream echoed through the massive house as Clara fell backward through the air in slow motion, her hands outstretched toward the ceiling. Down in the lower atrium, a man in a crisp white shirt heard the shout and burst into the hallway, his face instantly turning pale as he looked up.

Lucas: CLARA!

Lucas ran frantically down the marble hall, his shoes skidding across the polished floor. Clara plummeted straight down, the cold white atrium rushing up around her as her heart hammered in her chest. Seeing her fall, Lucas threw his body forward, sliding across the marble base of the grand staircase with his arms stretched out wide.

A sharp, dramatic impact echoed through the hall as Lucas caught her firmly in his arms just inches above the hard floor, absorbing the blow with his own body. Clara gasped frantically for air, her fingers digging tightly into his arms as she stared up at him in wide-eyed panic.

Clara: Lucas... oh God... Lucas!

Lucas: I've got you. I've got you, Clara. Breathe. Look at me, breathe.

He cradled her head gently, his eyes burning with intense, furious focus as he looked up toward the upper balcony where his mother stood watching.

Lucas: CALL THE POLICE.

He whispered the words firmly, his voice shaking with absolute anger, setting off a chain of events that would shatter the Vance family forever.
