Victoria's mind raced as she realized the massive mistake she had just made. She had poured dirty bucket water over the woman who held the keys to the entire fortune she was trying to marry into. She took a quick step toward Daniel, reaching out her hands to touch his arm.
Victoria: Daniel, please listen to me! It was just a misunderstanding! I thought she was being disrespectful to your home!
Daniel: Don't touch me!
Daniel marched down the final step, turned abruptly toward Victoria, and delivered a swift, powerful slap across her cheek. The sudden force sent Victoria tumbling sideways, landing hard on the slick marble floor right near the framed American flag artwork.
Victoria gasped in shock, clutching her red, stingy cheek as tears of real pain filled her eyes. Her polished red satin dress was now soaked in the dirty water pools on the floor.
Daniel: Don't you ever lie to me! Call 911 right now!
Victoria: Daniel! You slapped me! How could you do this to your fiancee?
Daniel: You are not my fiancee anymore! You showed your real face the moment you thought nobody powerful was watching you!
Clara: Daniel, keep your voice calm. Security is already on their way up the driveway.
Victoria pulled herself up into a sitting position on the cold, wet floor. The glamour was completely gone. Her hair was messy, her red dress was stained, and her makeup was running down her face. She looked at Daniel with pure panic in her eyes.
Victoria: Daniel, we have a prenuptial agreement meeting in two hours! You promised we would be married next month!
Daniel: That prenuptial agreement is canceled. The engagement is over. You will leave this house right now, or I will have you arrested for assault and destruction of private property.
Victoria: You can't just throw me out! I gave up my apartment for you!
Clara: That was your choice, Victoria. Cruelty always carries a heavy price tag.
