The phone line rang twice before an official emergency dispatcher answered the direct call.
Victor spoke into the microphone with absolute authority and a voice shaking with deep anger.
Victor: Send emergency police officers to the Miller estate in Dallas right now!
Victoria: Victor, please think about what this will do to our family name!
Victor: We have an active assault attempt and stolen legal property on site!
Victoria: It was an accident, she tripped over her own clumsy feet!
Victor ignored her desperate excuses and provided the precise residential street address.
He ended the phone call with a sharp click and tucked the device away safely.
Sarah sat on the marble step, her hands still shaking violently from the terrifying ordeal.
Victor knelt beside her and gently wrapped his heavy woolen suit jacket around her shoulders.
Victor: The police are coming with full sirens on right now.
Sarah: I cannot believe she would go this far for money.
Victor: Greed blinds people to the basic difference between right and wrong.
Sarah: She tried to steal everything our father worked his whole life to build.
Victoria began walking down the grand staircase, her expensive silk robe trailing behind her.
Her posture had crumpled completely, and her previous arrogance had turned into pure fear.
She looked at Victor with wide eyes, hoping to find some hint of sympathy.
Victoria: We can settle this privately without getting the local police involved, Victor.
Victor: You crossed a line today that can never be undone again, Victoria.
Victoria: I was only trying to protect my rightful home from her!
Victor: This was never your sole home, and you knew that all along.
Sarah stood up slowly with Victor's help, leaning against his arm for steady support.
She looked directly into her sister's eyes without showing any fear or doubt anymore.
The loud sound of police sirens began echoing down the long tree-lined driveway outside.
Red and blue emergency lights flashed brightly against the front glass doors of the mansion.
