A Sudden Hero Arrives

She Tried To Destroy Her Sister For The Texas Estate

A tall, bald man in a sharp black suit sprinted through the front entrance foyer.

It was Victor, the trusted family advisor who had worked with Sarah's father for decades.

He heard the loud shouting echo down from the upper floor and moved like lightning.

Victor looked up and saw Sarah dangerously close to slipping off the top landing edge.

He did not hesitate for even a single second as he rushed across the room.

His heavy dress shoes thundered loudly against the white marble floor toward the staircase.

Victor: Sarah, hold on to the railing right now!

Victoria: Stay out of this business, Victor!

Sarah lost her footing completely as Victoria gave another desperate shove toward the side.

She tumbled backward off the top step and felt herself falling toward the lower landing.

Victor leaped forward across the bottom steps with his arms outstretched to break her fall.

He caught Sarah securely in his strong arms just before she hit the hard marble floor.

The impact knocked the breath from his chest, but he held her tightly against his jacket.

They landed together safely near the foot of the grand wooden staircase below the flag.

Sarah gasped loudly for air while tears poured down her pale and bruised cheeks.

She clung desperately to Victor's suit jacket, trembling from head to foot with terror.

Sarah: She pushed me, Victor, she really tried to hurt me!

Victor: You are safe now, Sarah, I have got you right here.

Sarah: She tore up the court papers and tried to push me!

Victor gently set Sarah down on the bottom step and looked up at the balcony above.

His face turned dark with an intense wave of absolute rage as he stared at Victoria.

Victoria stood frozen near the balcony rail, her face completely drained of all red color.

She realized that her violent actions had been witnessed by the most respected man around.

Victor stood up to his full height and squared his shoulders against the upper landing.

He reached deep into his inner coat pocket and pulled out his gold smartphone quickly.

His thumbs tapped the digital glass screen with sharp and furious speed in the quiet room.

He raised the cell phone to his ear while keeping his fierce eyes fixed on Victoria.
