The Confrontation At Pine Crest

She Stole The Mansion Document And Frame Her Own Daughter

Mark rushed to his car with Arthur while the officers followed close behind.

The drive to Pine Crest Private Clinic took twenty tense, silent minutes.

The facility was hidden behind thick iron gates and heavy brick walls.

Mark parked his sedan right in front of the main glass doors.

He marched inside the quiet lobby with Arthur right beside his shoulder.

A receptionist looked up from her desk with a surprised jumpy look.

Mark: I am Mark Davis, and my wife Sarah was brought here unlawfully!

Receptionist: Sir, you need to lower your voice in this medical building.

The two police officers walked through the front doors right behind Mark.

Officer: We need to see the duty doctor who admitted Sarah Davis today.

A man in a white coat walked out from the inner corridor swiftly.

His name tag read Dr. Harrison, the physician mentioned in Sarah's notebook.

Dr. Harrison: Officers, what seems to be the issue in my clinic today?

Arthur: You admitted Sarah Davis without her husband's legal medical consent form.

Dr. Harrison: Her mother provided full emergency authorization papers earlier this morning.

Arthur: That authorization paper is invalid because the property transfer was fraudulent.

Dr. Harrison looked past Arthur toward the police officers standing in uniform.

His face turned pale as he adjusted his thin wire glasses nervously.

Officer: Take us to Sarah Davis immediately so we can check her status.

Dr. Harrison nodded slowly and turned around to lead the group back.

They walked down a quiet hallway lined with private locked white doors.

Dr. Harrison unlocked door 104 and pushed it open with a soft sigh.

Sarah was sitting on the edge of a narrow bed near the window.

Her hands were trembling as she looked up with wide frightened eyes.

Sarah: Mark! You found me!

Mark ran across the small room and pulled Sarah into a tight embrace.

Mark: I am right here, Sarah. You are safe now.

Sarah began to cry tears of relief against Mark's warm shoulder.

Sarah: Evelyn made me sign papers before her men loaded me inside.

Mark: We have the notebook and Arthur is taking care of everything now.

Arthur stepped into the room and handed a document to Dr. Harrison.

Arthur: This is an immediate injunction revoking your facility's custody authority.

Dr. Harrison looked at the legal injunction paper with shaking pale hands.

Dr. Harrison: I was told this was a standard family medical intervention request.

Officer: You will be answering questions at the station later today, Doctor.

Mark wrapped his coat around Sarah's shoulders and helped her stand up.

Mark: Let's go home and get Clara back in your arms.
