Protecting What Matters Most

She Slapped My Pregnant Wife So I Showed Her True Power

Within ten minutes, the sharp siren of an ambulance echoed down the quiet suburban street outside the Vance estate. Two paramedics rushed into the mansion hall carrying medical bags, carefully stepping over the scattered glass on the floor. They immediately knelt beside Della and began checking her vital signs with focused care.

Julian stood right by Della's side, holding her hand tightly and refusing to let go for even a single second. He ignored the blood that had smudged onto his expensive suit jacket from her cut arm. His only focus in the world was the safety of his wife and the precious child she carried inside her.

Paramedic: Her blood pressure is very high from the shock, sir. We need to transport her to the hospital immediately for an ultrasound check.

Julian: Take my private ambulance to St. Jude Hospital. I have already called the chief of surgery to prepare a private room.

Della: Julian, don't leave my side. Please come in the ambulance with me.

Julian: I am right here, Della. I am not going anywhere without you.

The paramedics lifted Della gently onto a soft stretcher, wrapping a warm blanket around her shoulders to keep her comfortable. As they wheeled her out of the grand front doors, Julian turned to his head security officer, who was holding a digital storage drive containing the camera footage.

Julian: Call our chief legal team right now. Tell them to draft a full lawsuit for aggravated assault against Victoria Vance before noon.

Security Head: Right away, Mr. Vance. We have clear high-definition footage of the entire attack from three different camera angles.

Julian: Also, call the loan department. Foreclose on every single property owned by the Vance family business effective immediately.

The security officer nodded solemnly, understanding that a massive shift in power was happening in the city's business world. Victoria had thought she was just picking on an helpless maid, but her cruel action had triggered the complete collapse of her family's wealth. Justice was moving swift and merciless against those who abused the innocent.

Julian climbed into the back of the medical vehicle beside Della, taking her cold hand and holding it against his cheek. The ambulance pulled away from the stone driveway, its red lights flashing against the green trees lining the estate entrance. Della closed her eyes, letting out a deep sigh of relief as she felt the steady warmth of her husband's grip.

Della: I was so scared I was going to lose everything today, Julian.

Julian: You are my everything, Della. And no amount of money or power will ever stop me from protecting our family.
