The Uncovered House Truth

My Evil Wife Hurts My Son When I Leave Home

David drove his fast car down the interstate highway way above the normal speed limit, his hands gripping the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. He had a strange, terrible feeling in his stomach that had been growing for weeks. He remembered how Leo always seemed to cry whenever Vanessa picked him up, and how the baby clung to David whenever he returned home. David had thought it was just normal baby moodiness, but now he feared something far worse was happening.

He called two of his strong private security guards and instructed them to meet him at the front gates of his private estate immediately. When David pulled into the long asphalt driveway, the two big guards in dark suits were already waiting near the white stone pillars. David jumped out of his car without even turning off the loud engine and ran straight up the wide brick steps toward the main entrance of his home.

With a loud crash, the large white double doors burst open as David rushed straight into the bright, high-key sunlit living room. The heavy footsteps of the security guards echoed loudly off the cream walls. Vanessa was standing near the center rug in her light blue dress, holding a glass of juice. On the floor nearby, baby Leo was lying on his side, crying uncontrollably with tears covering his small red cheeks while Sarah sat on her knees nearby weeping.

David: What is going on in my house right now?!

Vanessa: Oh, honey! You came home so early! The maid made a huge mess and scared the baby!

Sarah: That is a lie! She dragged him across the floor by his arm!

Vanessa: Fire this crazy woman right now, David! She is out of her mind!

David ignored Vanessa's loud complaints and quickly dropped his leather bag on the hardwood floor. He rushed forward and swiftly scooped up the crying baby into his strong arms, pulling the small child close against his dark blue suit coat. He gently patted the baby's back, making soft comforting sounds as Leo's hysterical sobs slowly turned into small, shivering whimpers. David looked over the baby's tiny arms and saw bright red marks on his delicate skin.

Vanessa watched anxiously, her face turning pale as she realized David was looking closely at the baby's arms. She tried to step closer with a fake sweet smile, reaching out her hands to take the child away from him. But David stepped back immediately, shielding his son with his body while his eyes burned with growing suspicion and protective anger. He turned his eyes toward Sarah, who was still kneeling on the floor near the wall.

David: Sarah, look at me and tell me the absolute truth right now.

Sarah: I have no reason to lie anymore, sir. My heart breaks for this boy.

Vanessa: Don't listen to a poor servant over your own legal wife, David!

David: Be quiet, Vanessa! Sarah, speak!
