Victoria: "David! Are you crazy?! You just pushed your own wife to the floor!"
David: "Shut up! Don't you dare speak another word!"
Victoria: "She is lying to you! I was playing with Lily and she accidentally slipped!"
Elena: "She didn't slip, Mr. Vance! She tossed her up and pulled her hands away on purpose!"
Victoria: "You insolent servant! How dare you lie in front of my husband!"
David: "Officer, keep her on the floor! Don't let her get up!"
The Dallas police officer stepped forward immediately, placing a heavy hand on Victoria’s shoulder as she tried to scramble up from the white marble floor.
Officer Miller: "Ma'am, stay down on the ground until we figure out what happened here."
Victoria: "Get your hands off me! Do you know who I am?! My husband owns this entire estate!"
David: "I own this estate, Victoria! Not you! And you will never touch another piece of my property again!"
David dropped to his knees beside Elena, gently lifting Lily out of the maid's arms and holding her close against his burgundy velvet suit jacket.
David: "Lily, sweetheart... are you hurt? Did you hit the floor?"
Lily: "No, Daddy... Elena caught me... but Victoria dropped me... she told me to fly and then she stepped away!"
David: "Oh God... my poor baby..."
Elena: "She was going to let her hit the marble headfirst, Mr. Vance. If I hadn't slid across the floor, Lily would be in the hospital right now."
David: "Elena, you saved my daughter's life. I will never forget this."
Victoria: "David, listen to me! Why are you taking a maid's word over your wife's?! She's making up stories to get a bonus!"
David: "My daughter just confirmed it, Victoria! Are you calling my seven-year-old child a liar?!"
Victoria: "She's confused! She was scared because she almost fell!"
Officer Miller: "Mr. Vance, is there any security footage inside this foyer?"
David: "Yes, Officer. High-definition 4K cameras cover every angle of this entrance."
Victoria's face turned pale, her confident demeanor suddenly evaporating under the bright foyer lights.
Victoria: "David... wait... we don't need to involve the police in a private family matter..."
David: "You tried to murder my daughter, Victoria. This isn't a family matter. This is a crime."
Officer Miller: "Can you show me the footage right now, sir?"
David: "I have the security app right here on my phone. Let's look at it together."
David pulled his smartphone from his pocket, tapping the screen twice to open the cloud recording app. He rewound the video stream by two minutes, holding the bright display out for Officer Miller to see.
Officer Miller: "Let's see what happened."
On the screen, the video showed Victoria throwing Lily into the air twice. On the second throw, the camera clearly captured Victoria deliberately taking two steps backward, putting her arms behind her back, and watching the child fall toward the marble floor.
Officer Miller: "My God... she stepped back on purpose."
David: "Look at her face in the video! She smiled as the child fell!"
Elena: "I told you, Mr. Vance! She wanted her to hit the floor!"
Officer Miller: "Ma'am, roll over onto your stomach and put your hands behind your back right now."
Victoria: "No! No! It was a mistake! I panicked!"
Officer Miller: "You didn't panic, ma'am. You put your hands behind your back and watched a seven-year-old drop. You are under arrest for attempted felony child endangerment and aggravated assault."
The officer pulled out a pair of steel handcuffs, clicking them firmly around Victoria's wrists behind her green velvet dress.
Victoria: "David! Please! Tell him to stop! I'm your wife!"
David: "You were my wife. Tomorrow morning, my lawyers are filing for an immediate annulment."
Victoria: "You can't take everything from me! We have a prenuptial agreement!"
David: "The prenuptial agreement states that if you commit a felony against my family, you walk away with zero dollars and zero assets!"
Victoria: "No! You set me up! This was all a trap!"
David: "I didn't force you to throw my child, Victoria. You showed your true evil nature all on your own."
