Richard Vance set his black leather briefcase down on the solid dark oak entryway table.
He looked at Sarah's cold expression and then down at the sharp blue vase shards.
Richard: I brought the temporary restraining order and financial freeze documents you requested on the phone.
Sarah: You have no legal right to freeze any of my personal bank accounts, lawyer!
Richard: As the primary executor of the estate, Mark has total authority during suspected fraud.
Mark handed the thick black leather binder directly over to Richard for immediate professional inspection.
Richard adjusted his reading glasses and carefully examined the fine signatures on the bottom pages.
Richard: These transfer clauses are completely invalid because they violate the original core trust terms.
Sarah: My personal lawyer checked those pages, and they are completely legally binding everywhere!
Richard: Your personal lawyer clearly overlooked the primary irrevocable clause signed by Mark's late wife.
Sarah's face turned completely pale as the harsh reality began setting in for her.
Sarah: What irrevocable clause are you talking about right now, Vance?
Richard: The entire property is held in an absolute protected trust for Lily and Toby only.
Mark: You spent months planning this scam, and you did not even read the original foundation trust!
Sarah: This is absurd, and I am leaving this house right now with my belongings!
Mark: You are not taking anything out of this mansion until the police search your luggage.
Sarah: You cannot keep me prisoner inside this house, Mark!
Mark: I am keeping you here until the local sheriff's department arrives to file the report.
Mark pulled out his cell phone again and pressed the emergency quick dial for local dispatch.
Sarah: Put that phone away right now, Mark, or you will regret this forever!
Mark: Hello, dispatch, I need an officer sent to forty-four Grand View Lane immediately.
Mark: I have an ongoing domestic harassment and attempted fraud situation at my residential address.
Sarah lunged forward to grab the phone directly out of Mark's hands in a panic.
Mark easily stepped back out of her reach while Richard stepped in between them calmly.
Richard: Mrs. Davis, I strongly advise you to sit down on that sofa and remain quiet.
Sarah: Get your hands off me, you overpaid corporate suit!
Toby and Lily peeked out from behind the top banister rail at the quiet commotion below.
Toby: Daddy, are the police coming to take the bad lady away now?
Mark: Yes, buddy, stay upstairs with your sister for just a few more minutes, okay?
