David walked into the room carrying two warm mugs of cocoa, watching as Lily painted a bright yellow sun on a large white canvas.
David: "How is the masterpiece coming along, sweetheart?"
Lily: "Look, Daddy! I painted our house, and Maria, and you!"
David: "It's the most beautiful painting I've ever seen."
Maria stepped into the room holding a tray of fresh chocolate chip cookies, smiling softly as she set them on the wooden table.
Maria: "The bank manager called, Mr. Sterling. Your brother's estate trust fund has been fully secured in Lily's name until her eighteenth birthday."
David: "That's wonderful news, Maria. My brother can finally rest in peace knowing his daughter is safe and cared for."
