The Grandmother Demands Answers Today

A Wealthy Stepmother Locked Her In The Sunroom Forever

Evelyn stepped out of her luxury black sedan holding a beige designer handbag.

She wore a tailored beige suit that showed her strong and dignified posture.

Two local police officers stepped out of a patrol car parked right behind her.

Evelyn had brought the officers along because she suspected terrible foul play.

For weeks, Marcus had been making excuses to keep Lily away from her grandmother.

Evelyn walked fast down the wide marble hallway leading toward the glass patio doors.

Her hard heels clicked loudly against the polished floor with every quick step she took.

Evelyn: Marcus! Where is my granddaughter right now? Answer me this instant!

Victoria quickly moved away from the sunroom door and put on a fake smile.

She smoothed down her silver dress and placed her hands behind her back slyly.

Victoria: Hello, Evelyn. Lily is sleeping peacefully upstairs in her bed.

Evelyn: Do not lie to me, Victoria. I know your sly tricks all too well.

Suddenly, a loud banging noise echoed from the glass sunroom near the garden.

Evelyn turned her head sharply toward the source of the desperate sound.

She saw tiny hands beating against the locked sunroom door from the inside.

Lily: Grandma! I am in here! Help me, Grandma!

Evelyn felt a rush of fierce anger surge through her entire body at once.

She marched directly past Marcus and pointed an accusing finger at Victoria's face.

Evelyn: What have you done to my granddaughter, you cruel monster?!

Victoria: She was being disobedient, Evelyn! She needed a strict lesson!

Marcus: Mother, please calm down! It is not as bad as it looks!

Evelyn: Shut your mouth, Marcus! You are a disgrace to your family name!

The senior police officer pushed past Marcus and approached the heavy glass door.

He saw the little girl drenched in sweat and crying frantically inside the sunroom.

Officer Miller: Unlock this door right now, ma'am, or I will break it down!

Victoria hesitated while gripping the small key inside her silver gown pocket.

She realized her plan to isolate Lily was falling apart in front of everyone.

Officer Miller: I am giving you three seconds before I smash this glass panel!

Marcus reached into Victoria's pocket and grabbed the key from her cold fingers.

He rushed over to the lock with shaking hands and turned it quickly.

The heavy glass door clicked open with a soft metallic sound across the room.

Evelyn pulled the door wide open and rushed inside to reach her granddaughter.

Lily threw her small arms around Evelyn's neck and sobbed hysterically into her suit.

Lily: Grandma! They locked me inside because I found Mom's ring!

Evelyn: I have you now, sweetheart. Nobody will ever hurt you again.
