Vanessa realized her plan had completely failed and her face turned red with anger again.
Vanessa: You cannot kick me out of here, Richard! I am your fiancee!
Richard: You are not my fiancee anymore, Vanessa. You are a trespasser on my private event.
Vanessa: I will sue you for ruining my reputation like this!
Marcus: Good luck with that, Vanessa, we have full video evidence of you putting hands on a minor and lying under oath if necessary.
The two security guards reached the table and stood on either side of Vanessa.
Security Guard: Ma'am, you need to gather your belongings and step out of the building peacefully.
Vanessa: Get your hands off me! Do you know who I am?
Security Guard: Please walk out willingly or we will escort you out in handcuffs.
Vanessa looked at Richard one last time, hoping to find a shred of mercy in his eyes.
But Richard only looked at her with cold indifference and complete disgust.
Vanessa held her head up high, turned on her tall heels, and walked out of the ballroom under guard supervision.
As she walked down the center aisle, the guests stepped back to let her pass in utter shame.
When the doors closed behind her, a collective sigh of relief washed over the room.
Richard turned around, picked up his daughter, and held her tightly in his arms.
Richard: I am so sorry I did not notice her cruelty sooner, my sweet Lily.
Lily: I love you, Daddy. I was so scared she was going to take you away from me.
Richard: Nobody will ever come between us, Lily. You are my top priority forever.
The crowd broke into soft applause as Richard kissed his daughter's forehead.
Marcus walked up with a warm smile and tapped Richard on the shoulder.
Marcus: Let us celebrate what truly matters tonight, Richard: family and truth.
Richard smiled warmly as he held Lily close, knowing his home was finally safe from harm.
