The Unannounced Return Home

A Wealthy CEO Discovers His New Wife's Secret Plot

The heavy oak front doors of the mansion suddenly burst open with force.

A loud bang echoed off the tall white walls of the foyer.

David Miller walked through the bright entryway flanked by two armed security guards.

He had returned home early from the city corporate office for an urgent meeting.

His navy blue suit looked sharp and immaculate under the bright light.

He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the emotional scene before him.

His son was crying on the floor beside the protective housemaid.

His wife was standing above them with a cold expression.

David: What is going on here?

David rushed forward across the foyer toward his young son.

The two security officers followed closely behind their boss.

Victoria's entire face turned pale in an instant.

She quickly changed her harsh facial expression into a look of sorrow.

She squeezed out fake tears and placed her hand over her mouth.

Victoria: Oh David, thank goodness you arrived home right now!

Victoria: Leo was being terribly unruly and reckless on the stairs!

Victoria: I tried so hard to grab his suit jacket to save him!

Leo pushed himself up from the floor with Sarah's help.

Tears rolled down his young cheeks, but his eyes were filled with anger.

He pointed his index finger accusingly at the woman in the green dress.

Leo: Dad, she pushed me down the stairs on purpose!

Leo: She yelled at me and told me to get out of her life!

Victoria: That is an absolute lie, David!

Victoria: The boy is making up stories because he dislikes me!

David looked down at his crying son and then at the maid.

He trusted Sarah because she had served his family with honesty for years.

David: Sarah, tell me the absolute truth about what just happened.

Sarah: She cornered him at the top step, sir.

Sarah: She demanded that he hand over a file and refused to help him.

Sarah: I had to run across the hall to catch him myself.
