He motioned for his lead bodyguard to clear out the guests.
Damon: Clear the room! Everyone leave through the main doors now!
The dinner guests quickly stood up and shuffled out into the hallway.
Arthur pulled his phone from his coat and dialed a fast number.
Arthur: Inspector Davis, you can bring your team inside now.
Damon's face turned completely white as sirens echoed outside the estate.
Damon: You brought the police to my private property?
Arthur: I brought justice for what your family stole from mine.
Heavy footsteps echoed down the grand hallway outside the dining room.
Four uniformed officers entered the hall alongside a senior detective.
Detective Davis: Damon Vance, we have a warrant for your financial records.
Damon stepped back, looking around for an escape route that was gone.
Damon: My lawyers will settle this before the end of the day!
Detective Davis: Your lawyers are already being questioned at the station.
The officers led Damon away from the grand table in silence.
Arthur turned around completely to face his newly found daughter.
