A Harsh Demand Made

A Mother Demanded The Bride Strip Until She Saw It

Eleanor walked around Julian with a furious expression on her wrinkled face.

Her sharp heels clicked loudly against the polished hardwood floor of the room.

She pointed a long finger directly at Clara's pale face in anger.

Eleanor: You think you can just walk into our family mansion like this?

Clara: I only want to make Julian happy and build a life.

Eleanor: You are a liar who belongs back in the filthy gutters!

Julian grabbed his mother's hand to push her back from his bride.

Julian: Stop insulting her right now or leave the house immediately, Mother!

Eleanor: I will not let her wear our family lace down the aisle!

Without warning, Eleanor lunged forward toward the frightened young bride.

Her old hands grabbed the back of Clara's delicate white gown forcefully.

A harsh sound filled the room as the back zipper split wide open.

The delicate lace fabric tore apart under the sudden and violent pull.

Clara gasped in horror and pulled the front of the gown to her chest.

Clara: What are you doing? Please stop touching me right now!

Eleanor: You're violent! Take off this cheap dress right now!

Julian: Mother! Have you completely lost your mind today?

Julian tried to pull his mother away, but Eleanor pushed him backward hard.

She grabbed Clara's shoulder roughly to force the torn dress off her body.

The intense struggle moved closer to the large glass table in the center.

Clara stumbled backward against the wooden edge of the smooth table frame.

During the struggle, Eleanor's hand caught the thin metal chain around Clara's neck.

The thin gold wire snapped under the heavy pressure of the pulling hand.

The green emerald pendant slipped off the broken chain into the air.

It hovered for a brief second in the bright sunlight of the room.

Then the heavy stone fell straight down toward the hard furniture below.

It landed with a loud metallic ring right on the glass coffee table.

The vibrant green gem caught the bright afternoon sunlight shining through windows.

It bounced once before coming to a rest near the very center.

Clara cried out in pure panic and dropped to her knees quickly.

Clara: No! Not my necklace! It is all I have left!

Julian: Mother, look at what you just did to her whole outfit!

Eleanor opened her mouth to yell another harsh insult at the girl.

But her eyes suddenly caught the green shine on the glass table surface.
