Elena carried the calm baby up to his bright, cozy bedroom.
Downstairs, Arthur walked into his private office with the two police officers.

He rewound the video recording by twenty minutes to the exact moment.
The video clearly showed Victoria carrying the baby carrier out onto the terrace.
It showed her setting the carrier dangerously close to the high marble balustrade.

Arthur walked back out into the grand foyer with a heavy heart.
His face was hard as stone as he looked down at his wife.
