Lawyer Arthur Vance walked into the greenhouse holding a black briefcase.
He took one look at the wet floor and broken pots.
"What on earth happened in here?" Arthur asked in confusion.
"My sister tried to drown my son for money," Julianne stated plainly.
Arthur looked over his thick wire glasses at Victoria in shock.
"Is this true, Mrs. Victoria?" Arthur asked very sternly.
Victoria wiped her dirty face with the back of her hand.
"She pushed me first!" Victoria tried to lie to him.
"The security cameras in the ceiling record everything," Mark pointed out.
Arthur shook his gray head slowly with deep disappointment.
"We do not need cameras to clear the legal trust," Arthur stated.
He opened his leather briefcase on a dry metal table nearby.
He pulled out a signed white document with a gold seal.
"Your father signed the final deed amendment three weeks ago," Arthur said.
Victoria gasped and clutched her gold dress at her waist.
"He was not allowed to change the house owner!" she yelled.
"He owned the deed free and clear," Arthur corrected gently.
Julianne handed the small waterproof drive to the elderly lawyer.
"This contains the bank transfer history from her offshore accounts," Julianne said.
Arthur took the drive and plugged it into his thin laptop.
The screen lit up with hundreds of organized financial file lines.
Numbers showed millions of dollars taken from the family trust fund.
Mark stepped closer to look at the bright blue screen.
"She took out a heavy mortgage on the estate last year," Mark realized.
Julianne looked at her sister with calm disgusted eyes.
"You broke this family just to buy useless fancy things," Julianne said.
Victoria dropped her hands to her sides in complete hopelessness.
"I deserved that money more than a grandkid!" Victoria yelled wildly.
"This estate does not belong to you anymore," Arthur stated clearly.
He turned the paper document around so everyone could read it.
The large bold letters named Leo as the sole property owner.
Julianne was appointed as the main legal trustee until he turned twenty-one.
Victoria was explicitly excluded from every single asset listed there.
"This is a total fake paper!" Victoria screamed in panic.
"It was notarized by the state supreme court," Arthur replied coldly.
Victoria looked around the greenhouse looking for any exit route.
Two estate security guards stepped through the glass doors behind Arthur.
"Please pack your personal items immediately, Victoria," Julianne commanded softly.
