Mark opened the office door and stood tall in the wide doorway.
Victoria stood in the bright hallway with her arms crossed tightly.
Victoria: You cannot just erase me from this family unit, Mark!
Father: I have everything recorded on our home security system, Victoria.
Victoria's face turned completely white in a matter of seconds.
She swallowed hard as her arms dropped slowly to her sides.
Victoria: What security system are you talking about?
Father: The high definition cameras in the kitchen and the living room.
Father: I saw every single thing you did to Lily while I was gone.
Two police officers suddenly entered through the open front sliding door.
Mark had called emergency services discreetly from his mobile phone earlier.
The lead officer stepped forward into the sunlit foyer with a notebook.
Police Officer: Sir, we received a distress call regarding a domestic disturbance.
Father: Officer, my wife has been harming my young daughter repeatedly.
Mark pulled the small USB flash drive out of his suit pocket.
Father: I have full video footage of her actions right here on this drive.
The second officer stepped up next to Victoria and reached for his cuffs.
Victoria: Wait! This is a complete lie! He modified those files!
Police Officer: Ma'am, please step outside so we can review the evidence.
The officer guided Victoria toward the open entrance door without delay.
Victoria glared back at Mark with anger as she was led away.
Victoria: You will be hearing from my divorce lawyer by tomorrow morning!
Mark did not say another word as the front glass door slid shut.
