Mark kept his daughter wrapped securely inside his left arm.
He stepped right into Victoria's personal space without showing any fear.
Father: You will not stay another minute under this roof with my child.
Victoria: Try to make me leave and see what my lawyer says!
Victoria reached over to grab her designer leather handbag off the marble counter.
She tried to push past Mark toward the hallway with her head high.
Mark blocked her path with his tall frame and a cold stare.
Father: Leave the keys on the counter right now, Victoria.
Victoria: Get out of my way before I call the local police on you!
Victoria swung her heavy leather handbag toward Mark's upper shoulder.
Mark caught the leather strap with his free hand and pulled it away.
The heavy handbag dropped onto the hard floor with a loud clutter.
Victoria gasped loudly and took three quick steps backward in high heels.
Her heel caught the edge of the kitchen rug near the sink.
She lost her balance completely and tumbled back onto the polished floor.
Victoria landed flat on the hard floor with a dramatic scream of anger.
She looked up from the floor with dark hatred in her eyes.
Victoria: You will pay for every single thing you did today!
Mark did not move an inch from where he stood near his daughter.
Father: I am calling my legal counsel and the police right this second.
He pulled his mobile phone out of his inner jacket pocket smoothly.
Victoria scrambled back up onto her feet with an ugly scowl.
Victoria: Do not dare touch that phone, Mark!
She lunged forward to grab the mobile device out of his hand.
Mark stepped sideways quickly and shielded Lily from the wild commotion.
