A Web of Greedy Lies

A Fake Pregnant Socialite Was Exposed by a Child at a Charity Gala

Julian: An underground adoption? Are you out of your mind?!

Victoria: I did it for us, Julian! I didn't want you to leave me! You signed that prenuptial agreement that said if we didn't have a child within three years, the inheritance stays strictly with your mother’s side!

Evelyn: So this was all a financial scheme to secure your piece of the Vance estate!

Chloe: Victoria, stop talking! You’re ruining everything!

Julian turned slowly toward Chloe, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. He remembered how aggressively Chloe had been defending Victoria just moments before.

Julian: Wait a minute. Why are you here, Chloe? You and Victoria haven't spoken since your real estate firm went bankrupt last year.

Chloe: I’m here as a supportive friend! Is that a crime now?

Lily’s Mom: Actually, Julian, my husband checked the guest logs. Chloe entered the mansion through the service door two hours before the party with a large briefcase.

Lily: Yeah! She was in the closet with her! I saw her helping her strap the pillow on!

Chloe: You brat! Keep your mouth shut!

Julian: Don't you dare yell at a child in my house! Chloe, what was in the briefcase?

Victoria sobbed hysterically, sinking onto a luxury velvet sofa near the flag display. She couldn't even look her husband in the eye anymore.

Victoria: She brought the fake ultrasound records... and the legal adoption paperwork from an illegal agency overseas...

Evelyn: Unbelievable. You brought a fraud accomplice into our family home!

Chloe: She paid me fifty thousand dollars to source a baby for her, alright?! I needed the money because my business went under!

Julian: Fifty thousand dollars of my money... you paid for a human life with my credit line?!

Victoria: Julian, please forgive me! I love you! I was just terrified of losing you and the life we built!

Julian: You didn't love me, Victoria. You loved the mansion, the luxury cars, and the family name.
