Daniel maintained his strict guard over Victoria, who sat defeated on the stone lookout bench.
Clara stood up slowly, keeping a firm grip on Lily's hand while checking her wedding dress for dust.

Two uniformed police officers rushed up the stone steps of the lookout, their equipment clanking softly.
"Keep your hands where we can see them!" the lead officer shouted as he approached the mountain deck.

"Officer, this woman trespassed on private property and physically threatened my wife and child," Daniel explained clearly.
Clara stepped forward alongside her husband under the framed American flag mounted on the central lookout pillar.
"She grabbed my daughter by the railing," Clara added, her voice strong despite the tears in her eyes.
"I had to physically pull my child to safety before she could do any further harm."
The secondary officer immediately moved in, pulling Victoria's arms behind her back to secure the steel handcuffs.
Victoria began screaming wildly as the metal clicks echoed across the sunlit scenic canyon viewpoint.
"This isn't over, Clara! You will pay for what you did to my estate!" Victoria yelled hysterically.
The lead officer looked at Victoria sternly, pulling her up from the stone bench without hesitation.
"You have the right to remain silent," the officer stated firmly, reading her rights under the clear sky.
"You are under arrest for felony endangerment, trespassing, and aggravated assault on a minor."
Daniel took Clara's hand in his, looking down at the disgraced woman as she was escorted away.
"You tried to ruin our family today," Daniel said, his voice deep and solemn under the midday sun.
"Instead, you will face a courtroom judge and spend years behind bars answering for your deliberate crimes."
