Sarah walked slowly up the back stairs to reach the second floor balcony.
She saw Clara leaning near the railing to look at the garden flowers.
The white marble railing was cool under the bright morning sunlight rays today.
Sarah moved without making any noise on the thick hallway floor rug.
Clara turned around suddenly and saw Sarah standing very close to her.
Clara: Sarah, you scared me.
Sarah: You should not be standing near this ledge, little girl.
Clara: I was just looking at the red roses outside with my dad.
Sarah: Your father is busy with real work that matters much more.
Clara: He told me he would come back in five quick minutes.
Sarah: He does not have time for a weak child like you anymore.
Clara stepped back in fear and put her hands behind her small back.
Sarah took two fast steps closer to corner the frightened young girl.
Sarah: This house will belong to me soon without any extra trouble.
Clara: My daddy loves me and this is my home too!
Sarah: We will see about that very soon, Clara.
Sarah raised her hand and pointed toward the steep marble stairs below.
Clara began to cry softly as she felt the cold wall behind her.
She realized that Sarah was not a good person at all inside.
Sarah reached out her hands and pushed Clara toward the tall edge violently.
Clara lost her footing on the slick floor and screamed in pure terror.
Her small body tipped over the white marble balcony edge into open air.
Sarah stood above with a cruel smirk on her cold evil face.
She believed her dark plan had worked without any witnesses around today.
The sound of Clara's scream rang out through the large bright mansion floor.
