Victoria's face flushed bright red with pure hatred as she tried to pull her wrist free.
She looked down at the boy who was hiding safely behind Sarah's back.

Sarah reached into her uniform apron pocket with her free hand while holding her ground.

The red light on the side of the small device was blinking steadily in the dim light.

Victoria lunged forward frantically, trying to snatch the small recorder out of Sarah's hand.
Sarah stepped smoothly to the side, maintaining a firm guard in front of the boy.
