Mr. Davis stepped forward quickly, carrying his official legal briefcase in hand.
He looked up at the broken balcony section hanging loosely far above them.
Lawyer: Is everyone unharmed after what just happened in this foyer?
Julian: Clara was saved, but someone intentionally unbolted that wooden railing.
Victoria stepped between Julian and the lawyer with a dark, stern glare.
Victoria: These children are emotional and making wild claims after a simple fall.
Sarah: That is not true, sir! I saw Mrs. Victoria near the hinges!
The maid pointed a shaking finger straight down at the cold stepmother.
Sarah: She had a small metallic wrench in her hand ten minutes ago!
Victoria’s face turned completely pale as all eyes landed directly on her.
Victoria: You dare lie about me in my own household, Sarah?!
Clara: It is over, Victoria. We have the original trust documents now.
Clara pulled the thick file out of her bag and handed it over.
Mr. Davis opened the folder and carefully read the dark stamped signature.
Lawyer: This is indeed the true, original will signed by your late father.
Victoria: That paper is outdated and completely invalid under state law!
Lawyer: No, Mrs. Victoria, this document carries the official court registry seal.
The lawyer looked up from the pages with severe disappointment in his eyes.
Lawyer: It explicitly leaves eighty percent of all assets directly to Clara.
Victoria took a quick step back toward the front entrance glass doors.
Julian stepped swiftly in front of the doorway, blocking her escape path.
Julian: You are not going anywhere until the local police arrive here.
Victoria: You cannot keep me trapped in this house against my will!
Clara: You tried to steal my father’s legacy and endanger my life.
Sirens sounded in the distance, echoing down the long private driveway outside.
Victoria sank down onto the bottom stair step, knowing she had lost everything.
Her plan to seize the vast family trust had completely fallen apart.
Julian held Clara’s hand tightly as police officers entered the grand home.
