Mark reached into his pocket and pulled out his mobile phone with quick confidence.
He dialed the local police department dispatcher while keeping his eyes on Victoria.
Victoria: Put that phone down right now before you make a massive mistake!
Mark: Hello officer, I need immediate police assistance at my private residence address.
Victoria: I will ruin your professional reputation in this town if you do this!
Mark: There is an intruder who refuses to leave my child's home safely.
He gave the operator his exact address and ended the phone call smoothly.
Victoria backed away further while looking around for her expensive designer handbag.
She realized that her carefully planned scheme to access his wealth had failed.
Victoria: You were nothing to me except a ticket to a luxury lifestyle!
Mark: Thank goodness I discovered your real character before signing that marriage license.
Victoria: I deserve compensation for the months I spent pretending to care!
Ellen: You deserve to go straight to jail for how you treated Leo!
Mark carried Leo into the quiet study and placed him safely on the soft couch.
He handed the child his mother's stuffed bear and gave him a warm drink.
Mark: Stay here with Ellen for just a few minutes while daddy finishes this.
Leo: Is that mean lady going away forever now daddy?
Mark: Yes buddy, she will never step foot inside our house ever again.
Mark walked back out into the bright luxury foyer where Victoria stood waiting.
She was hurriedly stuffing expensive gold jewelry from the bedroom into her bag.
Mark: Put those family heirlooms back on the table right this second.
Victoria: My lawyer will sue you for every dime in your bank accounts!
Mark: As a lawyer myself, I assure you that you will lose everything.
The sound of loud police sirens echoed down the quiet suburban driveway outside.
Red and blue flashing lights reflected off the bright white mansion entrance windows.
Victoria panicked and tried to run toward the back patio glass doors quickly.
