The next morning, the board members gathered around the long polished table.
Victoria sat near the head seat with a confident smirk on her face.
Victoria: We must address a severe security breach within our foundation team.
Arthur: I agree completely, Victoria, so let us review the facts now.
Victoria pulled out a thin blue folder and laid it on the table.
Victoria: Miss Sarah transferred fifty thousand dollars into a personal account yesterday.
The board members began whispering amongst themselves with serious concerned expressions.
Sarah stood calmly beside Arthur's chair without showing any fear whatsoever.
Sarah: That signature on your document is an obvious digital copy, Victoria.
Victoria: How dare an uneducated waitress speak directly to board directors!
Arthur tapped his key fob, activating the large digital screen on the wall.
An audio recording played loudly through the high-quality ceiling speakers.
Victoria's own recorded voice filled the quiet boardroom with crystal clarity.
Voice: I will claim she is stealing money from the foundation accounts.
Victoria's face turned completely white as the board members turned to look.
Board Director: This is a clear attempt to steal from the estate!
Arthur: Security officers are waiting outside the glass doors for you now.
Two uniformed officers stepped inside and escorted Victoria out of the room.
The remaining board members stood up and applauded Sarah's sharp vigilance.
Board Director: You saved this company millions of dollars today, young lady.
Sarah: I only did what was right for the company and Leo.
Arthur walked over to Sarah once the quiet room cleared out entirely.
Arthur: You have proven your unwavering loyalty to my family time again.
Sarah: You gave me a chance when nobody else believed in me.
Arthur: You earned every bit of success through your own clean heart.
He reached into his inner jacket pocket and pulled out a key.
Arthur: This key unlocks the main executive suite of our charitable branch.
Sarah: Are you appointing me as the new director of the foundation?
Arthur: Nobody deserves to lead our children's programs more than you do.
