Mark sat down at his large dark wood office desk upstairs.
He picked up the manila folder Victoria dropped during the fight.
Sarah stood nearby holding a hot cup of fresh tea nicely.
Mark: Look at these forged legal documents she had prepared Sarah.
Sarah: What do those papers say about the estate Mr. Mark?
Mark: She tried to take away my legal guardianship over Lily.
Victoria had hired crooked lawyers to steal the whole family fortune.
She wanted to declare Mark unfit to manage the big estate.
If something happened to the baby Victoria would get everything instantly.
Mark shook his head in deep sadness at the terrible greed.
Mark: She cared more about millions of dollars than human life.
Sarah: Money can make cruel people do very terrible things sir.
Mark: I am calling my family attorney to fix this today.
Mark picked up his desk phone and dialed his lawyer immediately.
He explained everything that had taken place inside the Texas mansion.
The lawyer promised to file restraining orders against Victoria right away.
She would never be allowed within five miles of little Lily.
Mark hung up the phone and looked out his big window.
The sun was shining brightly over the green Dallas lawn outside.
Mark: You showed real courage standing up to her today Sarah.
Sarah: Little Lily needed someone to protect her from harm sir.
Mark: My late wife would have been so grateful to you.
Sarah smiled softly and placed the tea down on his desk.
She was glad that the wicked plan had been completely stopped.
The household was finally free from Victoria's greedy dark shadow.
Mark pulled out a clean sheet of white paper from desk.
He began writing a new official agreement with a heavy pen.
Sarah wondered what her employer was writing down so fast now.
Mark: I am changing the management of this household forever today.
Sarah: What do you mean by that Mr. Montgomery sir?
Mark: You will never be just a maid in this house.
Sarah looked at him with big curious eyes in absolute surprise.
The future of the entire estate was about to change completely.
