Heavy tires crunched over the gravel driveway outside the front of the mansion.
Arthur Sterling's dark grey luxury sedan pulled up to the front entrance.
Arthur rushed inside, carrying his briefcase, looking tired from a long business flight.
As soon as the front doors opened, Victoria changed her expression from fury to sudden distress.
She squeezed out fake tears and ran toward Arthur with open arms.
Victoria: Darling! Oh thank goodness you are finally home!
Arthur paused in the grand foyer, looking confused by her sudden dramatic reaction.
Arthur: Victoria? What is wrong? Why are you crying?
Victoria: It is the new maid, Elena! She has been terribly disrespectful and rude to me all morning!
Arthur: Elena? She has worked here for five years without a single complaint.
Victoria: She accused me of being a terrible mother, Arthur! She even threatened me!
Elena walked out into the foyer, holding her smartphone firmly in her right hand.
Elena: That is not true, Mr. Sterling.
Victoria: See?! Look how she talks back to me in your presence!
Arthur: Quiet, both of you. Elena, what is going on here?
Elena: I have recorded proof of how Mrs. Sterling treats your son when you leave town.
Victoria's face turned completely pale as she took a quick step backward.
Victoria: She is lying, Arthur! Do not listen to a bitter maid who wants more money!
Elena: I do not want your money, Victoria. I want baby Leo to be safe.
Arthur looked between his panicking wife and the calm, determined housemaid.
Arthur: Show me the phone, Elena.
Victoria made a desperate movement to grab Arthur's arm to stop him from stepping closer.
Victoria: No, Arthur, please! Do not look at her dirty phone!
Arthur pushed her hand away firmly, his expression turning cold and serious.
Arthur: Hand me the phone, Elena. Right now.
