Victoria backed away until her shoulders hit the grand hallway wall.
The soft act she had played for months completely fell apart now.
She looked at Marcus with cold, angry eyes that showed truth.
Victoria: You care more about that useless child than your wife!
Marcus: She is my daughter, and you are a cold monster!
Victoria: I deserve half of this mansion and your company money!
Marcus: You will not get a single penny from this family!
Marcus took out his cell phone and dialed his head attorney.
He put the phone call on loud speaker so Victoria heard.
Marcus: Arthur, annul my marriage immediately and call the local police department.
Lawyer: I am on it right now, Marcus, stay safe there.
Victoria gasped as she realized her greedy plan was completely ruined.
She turned around and ran into the master bedroom to pack.
Marcus stood guard outside the hallway to protect his young daughter.
Ten minutes later, two local police officers arrived at the mansion.
They escorted Victoria out through the front doors down the stairs.
She carried two small suitcases while glaring angrily back at Marcus.
Victoria: You made a huge mistake, Marcus, you will regret this!
Marcus: The only mistake I made was letting you inside our lives.
The front heavy wooden doors slammed shut behind the police team.
The grand mansion became completely quiet and peaceful once again now.
Marcus took a deep breath as relief washed over his body.
He walked back up the stairs toward his daughter's safe room.
He knocked gently on the white wooden door three soft times.
Marcus: It is Daddy, sweetie, you can open the door now.
Lily opened the door slowly and looked up at her father.
Marcus knelt down and hugged her tightly in his strong arms.
Lily: Is she really gone forever now, Daddy?
Marcus: Yes, sweetie, she will never come back here again.
