Two local police officers entered the large white marble front foyer.
They saw Mark standing tall while holding his frightened little daughter.
They saw Victoria trembling near the main door in absolute shock.
Officer Davis: Sir, we received an emergency call about an child endangerment.
Mark: My stepmother tried to hurt my daughter on the balcony.
Victoria: He is lying! I was just visiting his family house!
Arthur: I have the live video feed right here on my phone.
Arthur stepped into the foyer holding a clear tablet device output.
He handed the device directly to the senior police officer in charge.
The officer watched the clear video showing Victoria's dangerous behavior.
His face turned serious as he looked over at the wealthy woman.
Officer Davis: Victoria Vance, you are under arrest for attempted endangerment.
The officer pulled out handcuffs and snapped them onto her wrists.
Victoria began to weep loudly as she was led toward the door.
Victoria: You cannot do this to me! I am a Vance!
Mark: You are nothing to this family anymore, Victoria.
They led her out to the waiting patrol car in disgrace.
The bright red and blue lights flashed against the marble walls.
Mark took a deep breath and looked down at little Lily.
She had finally stopped crying and was smiling at her teddy.
He felt a massive weight lift off his heavy shoulders today.
The long fight for his father's estate was finally over now.
