Brenda froze on the third step of the grand staircase, turning around slowly.
Brenda: What do you mean I am leaving my own home, Mark?!
Mark: You are no longer welcome inside this house or near my son.
Brenda: We are legally married, you cannot just throw me out like this!
Victoria: The police will certainly take interest in this camera footage, Brenda.
Brenda's eyes darted toward Victoria with pure venom and desperation.
Brenda: You ruined everything I worked so hard to build here!
Mark: What did you work to build, Brenda? A life of secret cruelty?
Mark walked over to his grand mahogany desk near the study entrance.
He opened the top drawer and pulled out a stack of financial documents.
These were papers his personal accountant had delivered late yesterday afternoon.
Mark: I was reviewing these legal files right before I stepped outside today.
Brenda: Those are private family trust documents that you shouldn't share!
Mark: They show you tried to transfer Toby's trust fund to your account!
Victoria gasped at the sudden revelation of Brenda's financial motives.
The stepmother was not just abusive; she was trying to steal his inheritance.
Toby's late mother had left a massive trust fund for his future education.
Mark: You needed Toby to look unstable so you could gain legal control.
Brenda: That trust fund was far too large for a young boy!
Mark: It was left to him by his mother before she passed away!
Brenda stepped down from the staircase, her voice growing sharp and loud.
Brenda: I deserved that money for taking care of your troublesome child!
Mark: You will not receive a single cent from my estate ever again.
Mark immediately dialed his legal counsel on his mobile phone.
He placed the speaker on so everyone in the room could hear clearly.
Mark: Arthur, prepare immediate divorce papers and a restraining order against Brenda.
Arthur: I will have the court emergency order drafted within thirty minutes, Mark.
Brenda's jaw dropped as her entire life of luxury dissolved instantly.
Her wicked plan to control the family wealth had completely failed.
She stood alone in the grand hallway, exposed as a heartless fraud.
