Mark rushed into the grand atrium while holding his leather executive briefcase tightly.
He stopped instantly when he heard his young son crying in high distress.
Mark: What happened?! Who did this to my son?!
Sarah cradled Leo firmly against her chest while kneeling on the hard floor.
She raised her shaking right hand and pointed directly up the marble staircase.
Sarah: She pushed him down the stairs! She tried to hurt him intentionally!
Mark turned his head fast toward his sister standing at the top landing.
Victoria shifted her weight uncomfortably and clasped her trembling hands together quickly.
Victoria: Don't listen to her! It was a complete accident!
Mark: An accident?! He is three years old and crying in complete terror!
Victoria: He tripped over his own loose shoes while running around so carelessly!
Sarah stood up slowly while keeping Leo held safely inside her strong arms.
Sarah: He was walking right next to me until she intentionally blocked his path!
Mark's face flushed with deep red anger as he dropped his heavy briefcase down.
He took fast steps up the wide marble stairs toward his pale sister.
Mark: How dare you lay a hand on my son in this house!
Victoria: Mark, please calm down and listen to my side of the story!
Mark grabbed Victoria by her upper shoulders and confronted her with intense rage.
Mark: You have crossed every boundary because of your petty greed and jealousy!
Victoria gasped loudly and pulled away, losing her balance on the slippery floor.
She fell backward onto the smooth marble landing with a sharp breath of surprise.
Victoria: I... I didn't mean to make him tumble!
Mark stood tall above her while protecting his crying family under the flag.
Mark: Touch my family again and you will regret it for the rest!
Victoria held her bruised hip on the marble floor while staring up blindly.
Victoria: You are letting this woman turn you completely against your own sister!
Mark: You turned yourself against this family the moment you endangered my son!
Sarah checked Leo's knee gently and confirmed there were no serious broken bones.
The little boy was still sobbing softly against her warm neck in fear.
Sarah: Mark, we need to call the family doctor to examine his leg.
Mark: I will call Doctor Evans right now, and then I am calling security.
Victoria sat up quickly on the cold floor with panicked desperation in her voice.
Victoria: You cannot call security on your own sister over a silly misunderstanding!
Mark: Endangering a small child is not a simple misunderstanding under any circumstances.
