The Truth Exposed to All

The Secret Letter Left Inside My Mother's Old Piano

Chloe looked confused as she turned her eyes toward her mother's pale and trembling face.

Chloe: Mom, what is she talking about right now in front of everyone?

Victoria: She is making up insane lies because she is bitter about her mother's small will!

Mr. Harrison: We have the authenticated original paper signed by Arthur Vance five years ago.

Mr. Harrison: We also have a forensic handwriting match confirming Ellen's private testimony about your threats.

Victoria took a step back and accidentally knocked a champagne glass off a nearby table.

The glass shattered loudly against the hard marble floor and echoed through the ballroom space.

Victoria: That old piano was supposed to be thrown into a wood wood chipper!

Victoria: I specifically ordered the house crew to burn that useless piece of furniture yesterday!

Clara: The movers brought it to my house this morning instead, Victoria.

Clara: My mother knew you would never check inside the wooden soundboard panel yourself.

Clara: You were too busy stealing her home and throwing her out into the cold.

Two uniformed county sheriff deputies walked smoothly into the foyer through the main doors.

They walked straight through the split crowd toward Victoria and stood on either side.

Deputy: Victoria Vance, we have an emergency court order freezing all assets under your name.

Deputy: We also have a warrant to seize all financial records inside this home office.

Chloe: You cannot arrest my mother at our own charity event like this!

Deputy: Please step aside, young lady, or you will be charged with obstructing justice.

Victoria began to weep loudly as the deputy placed metal cuffs around her slim wrists.

The rich guests gasped in shock and pulled out their mobile phones to record video.

Victoria looked at Clara with pure hatred burning behind her tear-stained eyes as she moved.

Victoria: You will never run this company or fit into this wealthy society, Clara!

Clara: I do not care about your society, Victoria; I only care about my mother's honor.

The deputies escorted Victoria out through the tall glass doors to the waiting police car.
