Elena: Is she really gone, Brandon?
Brandon: She’s gone, sweetheart. The security guards are escorting her and Harrison past the main gates right now.
Elena: I can't believe a grandmother could do something so cruel to her own blood.
Nurse Clara: Pride and jealousy make people do terrible things, Elena. But what matters now is that Noah is safe, resting, and completely out of harm's way.
Brandon: Clara, I don't know how to thank you. Three prestigious doctors walked into this room and none of them noticed what was right in front of their eyes.
Nurse Clara: That’s because doctors look at lab tests, sir. Nurses look at the patient.
Elena: Look at his skin, Brandon! The redness is already starting to fade under the cotton blanket!
Brandon: He looks so peaceful. He hasn't slept like this since the day we brought him home from the hospital.
Nurse Clara: We need to apply a simple barrier cream to his chest to soothe the rash. No fancy perfumed lotions, just pure medical-grade ointment.
Elena: I have some right here in the diaper bag! My sister gave it to me.
Nurse Clara: Perfect. Apply a thin layer right across his chest and back.
Brandon: I’m going into the garage to pull out those boxes of clothes your sister brought over.
Elena: Victoria told the housekeeper to put them near the recycling bins. I hope they haven't been thrown out!
Brandon: I’ll check right now. And then I’m throwing every single piece of that synthetic silk into the trash where it belongs.
Nurse Clara: Save one outfit, Brandon. Put it in a ziplock bag just in case her attorney tries to deny what happened today.
Brandon: Good idea, Clara. I’m going to make sure Harrison knows that if Victoria ever tries to challenge our custody, this evidence goes straight to the district attorney.
Elena: Thank you for standing up to her, Brandon. I was so afraid you would take her side.
Brandon: I will never choose her over you and Noah. You two are my life. I was blind to her manipulation for too long, but today opened my eyes for good.
Nurse Clara: He’s waking up a little bit, Elena. He wants his mother.
Elena: Come here, my sweet boy... Mommy’s got you. You’re safe now.
Brandon: Look at that tiny smile... he knows he’s safe with you, Elena.
Elena: He really was just reacting to everything around him... to the toxic fabric, the tension, the toxicity in this house.
Nurse Clara: Babies pick up on everything, Elena. They feel stress before they even understand what it is. Now that the toxic element is gone, your home can finally be at peace.
Brandon: I brought the box from the garage! It was still by the door!
Elena: Oh, thank goodness! Look at these cute little cotton onesies!
Brandon: They might not cost a thousand dollars, but they are soft, safe, and bought with real love.
Nurse Clara: That’s all a baby ever needs, Brandon. Love, safety, and simple comfort.
