The Arrival Of Justice

The Rich Stepmother Tried To Steal Her Boy's Inheritance

Two city police officers entered the conservatory through the front glass doors.

The mayor raised his hand to call the officers over immediately.

Mayor: Officer, we have a serious financial crime scene right here.

Victoria: Do not touch me, I am the owner of this estate!

Officer: Ma'am, please stand still and remain calm right now.

The officer walked up to Victoria and held her arm gently.

Richard tried to slide away toward the garden exit doors nearby.

The second police officer blocked his path with a firm hand forward.

Officer: You need to stay right here too, sir.

Richard: I will tell you everything if you do not arrest me!

Victoria: Shut your mouth right now, you foolish man!

Elena: Tell them the whole truth about the bank accounts, Richard.

Richard pulled a small black drive out of his coat pocket quickly.

He handed the memory drive directly to the waiting police officer.

Richard: All the original financial transfer files are on this drive.

Victoria: You traitor, after everything I paid you this year!

Officer: That is enough shouting, Mrs. Victoria, step this way.

The officer placed metal handcuffs around Victoria's slender wrists with a click.

Her sparkling beige gown looked ruined against the harsh steel cuffs.

Guests took out their mobile phones to capture photos of the scene.

The proud woman who ruled local society was led away in shame.

Elena walked back to where Leo was sitting with the guests.

She knelt down on the dry floor and hugged her son tightly.

Leo: Is that mean lady going away forever, Mom?

Elena: Yes sweetie, she will never bother our family ever again.

First Guest: You were very brave to stand up to her today.

Elena: I only did what any protective mother would do here.

The police led Victoria and Richard out through the front foyer doors.

The conservatory felt quieter and brighter once they were finally gone.

Elena looked up at the large American flag hanging on the wall.

Justice had prevailed in the place her husband built with love.
