By late afternoon, two police officers arrived at the luxury mansion to review the evidence.
They carefully examined the forged signatures and the fake legal documents found in the folder.
The detective confirmed that Beatrice had committed serious financial fraud against the estate.
Detective: We have more than enough evidence to arrest her immediately.
Meanwhile, Beatrice returned to the estate gate accompanied by a private security guard.
She believed she could force her way inside to demand a large financial settlement.
She walked up the grand stone steps, expecting David to give in to her demands.
However, when the heavy front doors opened, the police detective stood waiting for her.
Detective: Beatrice, you are under arrest for fraud and attempted grand theft.
Beatrice gasped in sheer shock as the officer placed cold metal handcuffs on her wrists.
Beatrice: This is a massive mistake, you cannot do this to me!
David: You brought this entirely upon yourself when you hurt my child.
The officers led Beatrice down the front driveway in front of neighboring residents.
Her greed and cruel lies had finally caught up with her in the most dramatic way.
With the threat gone forever, a massive weight was lifted from the entire household.
David gathered his legal team and officially finalized his late wife's original trust fund.
He made sure that every penny of the estate was secured safely for Lily's future.
He also rewarded Elena with a major promotion to manage the entire mansion staff.
He raised her salary significantly and treated her like a cherished member of the family.
David: You protected my daughter when no one else was paying attention.
Elena: I will always take care of sweet Lily with all my heart.
Later that evening, the sun set softly over the grand estate, filling rooms with golden light.
Lily sat near the open balcony upstairs with the ceramic music box on her lap.
She turned the tiny golden key, and the sweet familiar melody filled the quiet hallway.
David and Elena stood nearby, watching the little girl smile warmly for the first time in years.
The dark shadows of cruelty and deceit were completely replaced by hope and true love.
