Mark carried his two children quickly back into the warm dry house.
He wrapped them in dry cotton towels on the living room sofa.
Lily held a cup of warm water with her small shaking hands.
Lily: She said we could not come inside until you signed papers.
Mark looked down at his young daughter with deep heartbreaking shock.
Mark: What papers was she talking about, my sweet little girl?
Lily: She had folder papers on the big wooden desk today.
Evelyn walked into the living room while wiping rain from her coat.
She tried to put on a calm tone to regain control.
Evelyn: The girl is lying because she was in trouble earlier.
Mark: She is six years old and terrified out of her mind!
Mark walked over to his private office desk across the room.
He saw a thick navy folder sitting right beside his official laptop.
He opened the file to read the bold printed document titles inside.
It was a full transfer document for his entire real estate trust.
It also contained financial papers regarding his massive life insurance policy structure.
Evelyn stepped closer with a cold expression on her dark face.
Evelyn: You were going to sign those financial papers tonight anyway.
Mark: I never agreed to give you control of their trust!
Evelyn: You love me and I deserve security in this rich home!
Mark: You put my children in danger to force my hand!
Mark pulled out his phone and dialed his family attorney immediately.
Attorney: Hello Mark, what can I do for you this evening?
Mark: Cancel every financial agreement and prenup document related to Evelyn.
Evelyn gasped loudly as her eyes widened with sudden panic now.
Evelyn: You cannot just strip away my legal status like this!
Mark: Watch me remove you from every single asset I own.
He ended the phone call and stared directly into Evelyn's eyes.
