Lily backed away toward the wall, holding her small soft doll against her chest in fear.
Lily: I am sorry, Victoria!
Victoria stepped forward quickly and grabbed the young girl's arm with a tight grip.
Victoria: You stupid child, you ruin everything in this house!
Clara ran out from the adjacent kitchen area the second she heard Victoria's harsh voice echoing.
Clara: Please stop, she is just a little girl!
Victoria turned around with extreme anger burning in her eyes as Clara reached for Lily.
Victoria: Get away from him!
Victoria shoved Clara back with full force, sending the young nanny straight onto the hard floor.
Lily began crying loudly as Clara tried to regain her balance on the slick marble surface.
Lily: Help me!
Victoria reached down toward Lily again, completely ignoring the young child's loud and desperate cries.
At that exact moment, the heavy front entrance doors swung wide open under the morning light.
David had forgotten his legal paperwork on his desk and had turned back around unexpected.
He stood frozen in the doorway as he saw Victoria standing over his crying child and nanny.
David: What are you doing to my family?!
David dropped his black leather briefcase onto the floor and charged straight across the foyer.
He dropped to his knees immediately and wrapped both arms around his trembling little girl.
Clara pointed at Victoria while catching her breath from the sudden hard hit on the floor.
Clara: She was going to hurt Lily over a broken juice glass, Mr. Miller!
David looked up at Victoria, his face turning completely pale before filling with deep rage.
David: You are a monster!
Victoria took a quick step back toward the grand pillars as her face went totally white.
Victoria: No, it is a misunderstanding!
David stood up to his full height, keeping his small daughter behind his strong frame.
David: I saw what you just did with my own eyes!
Victoria put her hands up defensively, trying to force a fake soft smile onto her face.
Victoria: The nanny was lying to you, David, she pushed the child down!
Clara: That is not true and you know it!
David pointed toward the massive front doors with a steady and severe look in his eyes.
David: Take your things and get out of my house right now!
