The Hidden Will

The Rich Boy Cried Until His Nanny Revealed Everything

The foyer became so quiet that the ticking of the clock sounded like hammers.

Victoria looked back and forth between Richard and the brave young nanny.

She had agreed to marry Richard thinking he controlled the whole family estate.

She did not know that the massive mansion belonged to the little boy.

Victoria: Is the estate in the child's name, Richard?

Richard: My financial details are none of your concern yet.

Victoria: We are getting married in three weeks, so it is my concern!

Matteo: Dad, are you going to send me on an airplane?

The small boy started to cry again, his voice trembling with real fear.

Elena bent down and scooped the little boy up into her arms safely.

She held his small body against her chest and rubbed his cold back.

Elena: Nobody is putting you on an airplane without your consent, Matteo.

Richard: Put my son down right now, Elena!

Elena: I am keeping him safe from your terrible choices.

Richard reached out his hand to grab Elena's blue arm with sudden anger.

Before he could touch her, the grand front door pushed open wide again.

An older man stepped inside wearing a dark grey coat and carrying a leather briefcase.

It was Mr. Harrison, the longtime family lawyer for Matteo's late mother.

He looked around the cold foyer with deep disappointment in his eyes.

Mr. Harrison: I received your urgent text message, Elena.

Richard: What is the meaning of this intrusion, Harrison?

Mr. Harrison: I am here to protect the real owner of this estate.

Richard's hands began to shake as he pulled them back into his pockets.

He had not expected the lawyer to show up at the house today.

Mr. Harrison: We received copies of the forged transfer documents this morning.

Victoria: Forged documents? What is he talking about, Richard?

Mr. Harrison: Mr. Vance tried to move five million dollars from Matteo's account yesterday.

The words hung in the air like heavy smoke after a fire.

Matteo looked at the lawyer and then looked at his father's angry face.

Matteo: Is that my mom's money, Mr. Harrison?

Mr. Harrison: Yes, sweet boy, it belongs entirely to you for your future.

Elena: And his father was going to send him away to hide it.
