A Cold Heart Revealed Inside

The Nanny Discovered The Stepmother Secret In The Mansion

By noon, David had left the mansion for an urgent boardroom meeting in the city center.

The large house grew quiet except for the ticking of the grandfather clock near the foyer.

Sarah was preparing lunch in the kitchen while Leo sat in his high chair nearby.

She heard the sudden sound of rustling papers coming from David's private office down the hall.

Curious, Sarah peeked into the hallway and saw Victoria searching through the executive desk.

Victoria pulled out a thick blue folder containing the trust fund and inheritance documents.

Her face twisted with frustration as she read through the legal terms of the estate.

Victoria: Everything goes to this child while I get nothing!

She slammed the heavy folder down onto the wooden desk with a sharp noise.

Leo let out a small whimpering sound from the kitchen upon hearing the sudden crash.

Victoria marched out of the office with quick, angry steps toward the dining area.

Her brown dress rustled loudly as she stared down at the frightened toddler.

Victoria: Shut up right now, you noisy little brat!

Sarah: Please do not yell at him, Victoria.

Victoria: Mind your own business and know your place in this house, servant!

Victoria grabbed the toddler's arm tightly and tried to pull him out of his seat.

Leo began to cry loudly as panic filled his soft brown eyes.

Sarah stepped forward immediately and stood firmly between Victoria and the high chair.

Sarah: Take your hands off him right now!

Victoria: I am the mistress of this home, and I decide what happens here!

Victoria raised her hand and pointed toward the front door with burning anger.

Victoria: Trash like you does not belong in this house!

She pushed past Sarah and forcefully grabbed Leo by his small shoulders.

Victoria dragged the crying toddler into the grand foyer toward the basement door.

She intended to lock the child away in the dark room until the weekend passed.

Leo struggled against her strong grip and cried out for his nanny to save him.

Sarah ran out of the kitchen with her heart pounding heavily in her chest.

She knew she could not allow this cruel woman to hurt the innocent boy.

The safety of the child was the only thing that mattered to her in that desperate moment.
