Justice in the Grand Hall

The Maid Wet From Dirty Water revealed Her True Identity

The sharp sound of paper rustling filled the heavy air as Arthur Pendelton unclasped his briefcase and pulled out a final set of official notices. He was a man who had handled high-stakes corporate disputes for thirty years, and his face was entirely devoid of sympathy as he looked down at the disgraced woman on the floor. Victoria's red silk dress was streaked with brown dirt stains, her blonde hair was messy and unkempt, and her wet hands trembled so badly she could barely hold the paper he handed to her.

Arthur: Mrs. Vance—or rather, Miss Jenkins—this is your official notice of immediate eviction and legal annulment.

Arthur: Under the terms of the signed agreement, your credit cards have been canceled as of five minutes ago.

Arthur: The luxury sports car parked in the driveway has already been repossessed by company security.

Victoria: My jewelry! My designer bags upstairs! Those are mine!

Daniel: Everything in this house was bought with my family trust funds.

Daniel: You came into this house with one cheap suitcase, and that is exactly how you are going to leave.

Victoria looked at Sarah, hoping to find a shred of mercy in the woman she had tormented. She tried to crawl forward on her knees, her eyes wide with desperation as she reached out toward Sarah's wet apron. But Sarah simply took a step back, her expression remaining entirely steady and calm. She had seen enough fake emotion to last a lifetime, and she knew that Victoria was only crying because she had been caught, not because she was truly sorry for her cruel actions.

Victoria: Sarah, please! You're a woman, you know how hard it is out there!

Victoria: Don't let him send me back to nothing! Give me one more chance!

Sarah: You had six months of chances to show basic human kindness to the people around you.

Sarah: You chose to kick buckets, throw dirty water, and insult people who work hard for a living.

Sarah: Now you get to experience what it feels like to have nothing at all.

Sarah turned her back on Victoria, walking over to the linen closet near the front entrance hall. She pulled out a clean white towel, wrapped it around her wet shoulders, and took off her thick reading glasses for the final time today. The security guards stepped forward, grabbing Victoria gently but firmly by the arms and lifting her up from the wet floor. She tried to pull away, kicking her high heels against the hardwood, but the guards were far too strong. They marched her toward the grand entrance doors while she screamed curses and threats that fell on completely deaf ears.

Victoria: You'll regret this, both of you! I'll sue you for everything you own!

Arthur: Good luck finding an attorney who will take your case, Miss Jenkins, given the video evidence.

The heavy mahogany front doors slammed shut behind Victoria, cutting off her hysterical screaming instantly. The grand entrance hall fell into a peaceful, perfect silence once again. Daniel walked over to his sister, placing a warm, supportive hand on her shoulder as she dried her hair with the white towel. Outside the large glass windows, they could see Victoria standing in the rain on the long driveway, clutching her small single suitcase while the security gate closed automatically behind her, locking her out of the estate forever.
