David sat on the plush velvet sofa in the study, holding his sleeping baby in his arms.
Clara stood politely near the desk while Victoria paced nervously back and forth near the doors.
The atmosphere inside the room was heavy with unspoken anger and incoming consequences.
David: Clara, I want you to tell me everything that has happened here recently.
Clara: Sir, three weeks ago she took away my phone so I couldn't record her.
Victoria: That is an absolute lie invented to destroy my marriage!
David: If you interrupt her one more time, I will have security remove you!
Victoria bit her lower lip hard, her knuckles turning white as she clenched her small fists.
Clara pulled a small black USB flash drive out from her apron pocket and held it up.
Clara: I hid a small audio recorder near the kitchen counter two weeks ago, sir.
David: You recorded her statements inside this house?
Clara: Yes, because I knew nobody would believe a maid over a wealthy woman.
Victoria's face turned completely pale as she stared at the tiny metal drive in Clara's hand.
She made a sudden quick move forward as if to grab the recorder out of Clara's fingers.
David stepped firmly in front of Victoria, blocking her path with a stern, cold stare.
David: Don't you dare touch her or that recording device!
Victoria: David, please, she is trying to frame me for extortion!
David took the USB drive from Clara and plugged it directly into his laptop computer on the desk.
He clicked the audio file and turned the speaker volume all the way up for everyone.
Victoria's sharp voice filled the quiet study, filled with clear insults and abusive threats.
On the recording, Victoria clearly bragged about taking money from the house budget for herself.
She openly admitted to using David's family trust fund money to pay off her massive personal debts.
David listened to every single word while his jaw tightened with deep disgust and disbelief.
David: You didn't just mistreat my staff; you were stealing from my family trust!
Victoria: I can explain everything if you just give me a minute!
David: You have thirty minutes to pack your bags and leave my property forever.
